Taking time out..........

Well, I don't go in to work until 10:00 today, so I'm taking a few minutes to play on the computer.  I'm going to be working a lot of overtime this week and next week, starting today.  They were having trouble getting us to work as much overtime as is needed right now, because everyone did so much at the end of the year; we're all burnt out!  But Monday they announced that for every 8 hours of overtime we work we'll get a $65 bonus, in addition to overtime pay.  Hey, that's free money, so I can't turn that down.

Eler Beth hasn't had as much homework as she did on Monday.  But Tuesday she was doing her Science homework and I made a comment about how she must be enjoying it because it was dealing with things she's interested in.  And she said, solemnly, with one eyebrow quirked, "Mom.  Science isn't as fun as you might think."  I guess even when the subject might be of interest to you, homework is still homework.

Hope everyone is having a good week.  I'll try to find some time to visit some other journals soon.  It may not be before Saturday, though.

Yep OT is getting harder and harder to come by where I work.
So I work it whenever I can.

don't burn yourelf out working too much, but the money sounds like a good incentive! Family first and then journals; journals always seem to be here waiting for us

I hear ya, about the homework issue.  My daughter is struggling to hold on to her interest in school this year.  She has always been a top student, but this has been a tough one.  A perfectionist child in a perfectionist's classroom does not work very well.  Plus the age itself is tough.  I hear it doesn't get any easier.  As a matter of fact, I REMEMBER that is doesn't!  LOL  Michelle
