I feel so honored!
I logged on and read my comment alerts last night and found that 9 or 10 of my last entries had been comment spammed by some guy wanting to plug his website. At least, I assume it was a guy. I hope he doesn't decide he wants to come back to my journal and leave a real comment, because I blocked his ability to do that.
I'm sure I wasn't the only special one he singled out!

Yes, I've been honored like that in the past. Like you, I blocked them from my journal and have not been bothered again. I hope it works for you.

Good for you. I tend to be pissing people off with my latest two journal entries. Apparently I'm too real, violent in the telling. All I have to say is some people need to grow the hell up, I won't stop writing realistically. I'm beginning to think I may have to download my past entries just in case. (Hugs) Indigo
I've had that happen to me as well. It must be a new kind of way of spamming.

I've been lucky but then again only one of my journals, the photo journal is public. Hope that's the end of the spam for you.
It's just creepy how people choose to be! Hope your popularity contains itself to those who love your reads and not your site to advertize! Hope your tomorrow brings you happiness and some smiles!

Spam can be pretty funny - if there's not a whole lot of it. I think I might've posted a while ago about a website I help moderate. One of my jobs is to delete spam from the forums, and there are so many people who spam that my job is never done! I wonder if anyone ever goes to these sites people try so hard to advertise?
