Both of my sisters still live in Indiana....their bills this month were $384 and $485. It is just unbelieveable! I don't know how familes that struggle to make it are going to handle this. ((((warm hugs))))
Out temperatures have been in the 80's all week, but our city just notified us that they are raising our rates by 34%. I haven't opened the new bill yet. I really don't want to see what they have done to us. Of course we got the letter telling us to 'bundle up' and cover ourselves with blankets, but the whole situation rankles. What about those that don't have an extra 34%. I worry about them! Pennie
I truly understand.Ours went up; not quite that much from last year, but we had a mild stretch of temps. I fear when winter really hits what it will do to the bills.
