Had a really nice day today. Didn't really go anywhere or do anything special. Eler Beth and Thomas went to their favorite fruit/vegetable market and brought home a delicious watermelon. I'm not much of a watermelon eater, but this one was good. They also got a couple of good-looking cantaloupes that I plan to sample in the morning. I do love cantaloupes (or mushmelons, depending on where you're from). Eler Beth also brought home some nice looking asparagus that she asked if we could have tonight. She also asked for pork chops, so Thomas grilled some chops and we had steamed asparagus and mashed potatoes (the fattening kind, made with sour cream!) for dinner. Yum! Ate way too much!
Well, I'd better get to bed. I've had fun this evening trying to catch up on journal reading and checking out some new journals that have been brought to my attention. But it's almost midnight, so I'd better get myself to bed. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You have to try the asparagus on the grill! Just toss with a tiny bit of olive oil, salt and pepper and throw them on. It comes out so good like that!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend! Martha :-)
