Snake in the grass

It is really very nice here today.  Eler Beth and I took her lessons outside for a while, and in between work we played with the dogs and I even got some laundry hung out on the lines.

She brought her bird outside for a while, too.  Lucy is getting good about letting Eler Beth carry her around on her hand or arm, but Eler Beth still has to wear thick gloves.  She was walking in the lower part of the yard when she saw a little garter snake, and she didn't freak out this time.  She is very proud of herself!

My flapper weather pixie says it is 60 degrees right now, but it isn't; it's only 47.  It's a very sunny, nice 47, though.

Well, we're having lunch right now, so I thought I'd pop in and say hi.  Guess I'll talk to everyone later.

I always freak out about snakes.  Big, small, dangerous or not.  They are just creepy to me!  I can do lizards and frogs and stuff like that.  Just NOT snakes...
Glad you are enjoying your sunny 47! WE had a sunny 65, yesterday!  Spring is in the air (I hope)!  Jae
