Okay! Thank you Guido for "getting" the previous post, and to everone else, so far, I am so sorry! I saw it and nearly laughed my head off and just had to share. You know Beowulf was originally written in Old English (Anglo-Saxon) and has to be translated to be read today. And that's how some of us feel about trying to decipher our phone bills -- as if they were written in Old English! lol I think it's also a play on that old commercial where they replaced the guy's regular morning coffee with a different brand. I thought it was hilarious!
Please someone else say they got it and thought it was funny, too!

I just took a look at it and thought it was funny, too. I think our phone bill might as well be in Japanese. Every month Ma gives me this 10 page thing and asks me what it means and I have no idea other than the total at the end. Then she tells me the story of how phone bills used to be one page that said "Amount Due" and the amount and that's all.
If I hear her ask me what "special charges" are one more time, I swear I'm killing myself.
Well....my phone bill is really easy to read LOL....and I didn't really get the "funny" from the picture...but I figured with the Beowolf (sp??) pic that it had something to do with that LOL...hope the back is better....give it a rest...ok....and that Eler Beth is quite the girl is all I can say LOL...quite the girl!!!!! hugs...Ora
Now I feel bad for being so dimwitted! If I would have taken the time to think about it, I am sure I would have understood. Unfortunately, our phone bills are cake to read... so my mind didn't try to take the next step to 'get it!"

I "get it". Phone bills and doctor bills are made to confuse us...lol
Just think of the people that don't look the bill over, they just pay..I'm sure companies have made plenty of money that way..lol..
