Exercising 4 Comments!

I have mentioned the journal The Best I Can Be where several J-Landers are posting their progress in reaching certain personal goals and encouraging one another.  Well, recently Martha brought to our attention Lisa's blog where she is Exercising 4 Comments!  She does a sit-up (or crunch) for each comment she receives.  I thought that was a wonderful idea for a motivator!!

So, starting tomorrow I'm going to do that too.  For every comment I receive in this and any other of my journals I will do one crunch.  Eler Beth is going to be my witness to make sure I do it.  So I hope you will all trust me (and Eler Beth), because after all I have no way of proving to you that I'm doing them.  But I will, on my honor.

Haha!!  I just got a comment on my previous post from Lisa, who started this, and she said "1 crunch!  Ha-ha-ha".  So I guess I'm off and running -- or crunching!!

A year and a half ago I started with 50 crunches and now I am doing a minimum of 250 70-85lb weighted crunches (depending on the ab crunch machine I am using)
Keep going you can do whatever you set your mind to!

Oh my.  I couldn't do a crunch if my life depended on it.  YET!  My spine would blow out my back. LOL  And who would get me off the floor?

Thanks for visiting me and your encouragement on my recent back surgery.    Things are going very well and my pain level is low.   The only thing right now is that after sleeping constantly during this first week back, I now can not sleep temporarily.     I have been calculating the 2 miles of walking my lane up and down each day and am just under 2 miles.     I can feel where the pressure that was once pinching my spinal cord, which is technically a nerve below a certain lumbar level as mine is, has released.    Each day it gets better.    Thats about it for now.    I spend a certain amount of time reading the journals each day without letting it take away from other things I need to concentrate on.    I have found by reading J-land people's journals' their desire to not overdo it by spending too many hours at it.   My journal started in 2004 and I have gotten to know people that I really enjoy communicating with.    So you will find me popping in and out and making entries at my leisure.     I will write to you more in the future for sure.    mark

This is an interesting motivator to do crunches equal to comments you receive for the day.
