Busy Friday

I took advantage of the comparatively cooler temps yesterday and took the kids to the Louisville Zoo.  We had a great time, but I was worn out when we got home!

But first we went to register Andrew at Prosser School of Technology.  He will be taking  IT Network Systems, and he is really getting excited about it.  While checking Prosser's web page I read the history of the school and found out something I hadn't known before:  Charles Allen Prosser, for whom the school is named, was from New Albany, Indiana (where the school is located), and is known as "the Father of Vocational Education in the United States."  Reading his bio was very interesting.

School fees this year were:  Eler Beth's fifth grade fees, $125.00; Andrew's eleventh grade fees, $102.00; Andrew's Prosser fees, $157.00.  So far that's $384.00 I've spent this week, not counting school supplies and clothes, which we've only just started shopping for.  Wow!!

Young families have it hard now days. I wonder if they use all the "stuff" they require. I heard them say on TV that they no longer require just one box of kleenex. lol Paula
