Cow Tipping

My daughter just asked me, "Mom, how exactly DO you tip a cow?"

I'm pretty sure that the question was just casual curiosity and not research for a future deed, so I thought I'd leave the answer to someone who may know the answer to this better than I.

Anyone out there know?

I've never done it but I think it is exactly what Dawn said.

Cow-tipping, like snipe-hunting, is a fable.  It isn't true and it doesn't work.  End of story.

Cow tipping is an excuse for teenage boys to get teenage girls into a secluded country setting in order to make-out.

I have no idea how to tip a cow....and I don't think I'm going to try it any time soon....LOL....June:)

Never liked the sound of it but think of it as someone trying to push a cow over on her side. Really don't think it could work so like some of the other comments think it is just that a saying. Paula

Generally it's something done to prove strength by a couple of dumb ass jocks who are drunk. Although you might not want to use that description for your daughter. I would just go with it's cruel and something ignorant idiots try to do to a cow.

On another note , I love your stories of your childhood and the letters you share from your sisters. You give me a sense of what family is all about, something I sorely missed growing up. (Hugs) Indigo

OK...so...really?  Well, you just stand next to it whiles its sleeping and push it over.  Its easy.  But mean! :(  I think.  I guess it doesn't hurt them too bad... I'm not to sure though.

lol  What a cute question!

I always thought it was something that country kids just said to make fun of city people
I would like to know if it was true....

I always heard that cow tipping was like an urban ledgen...not something that you can really do.  But I could be wrong.
