Not long ago I got the collection of Hootenany from the library emceed by Jack Linklatter to a college.  The young Johnny Cash was a guest, and one of the songs he sang was the one about the "crick rising, Mama" and Lori, it was so good, so dramatic.  He was just striking.  I thought no wonder they thought he was going to be a big star.  That is one of the best clips I have ever seen of the young Johnny Cash.  My son Raymond always sang Johnny Cash songs until he started writing his own.  When you called his answering service you might get a full imitation of Johnny Cash on the phone, which was good until you really needed to talk to him about some emergency and you kept getting Johnny Cash on the phone!  Gerry

He is absolutely wonderful. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash as my dad is a huge fan. I can't wait to show him. Pam xx
