“So this morning I called a friend (yes I do have friends...that do not live in my computer)”
This is how Kelly began an entry yesterday, and it gave me an idea. Then today I read Bea’s, Donna’s, Lisa's, and Kate's entries about why they read their favorite journals/blogs, and that kind of went along with my idea.
You see, I have really come to enjoy my J-land friends, visiting them and their families, sharing in their joys and sorrows, laughing at their jokes and stories, and sighing over their disappointments. (But they do live in my computer.)
J-land has become another extension of my own life and my own family, and I like visiting it whenever the spirit moves me. And, unlike my real life and my real family, I can open or close the door on J-Land whenever it suits me (because it exists in my computer).

After the day that I had I am so glad that I have friends in j land! LOL Can I join you on your travels. The first place I want to go is back to Germany!

Put me on your virtual road map... I want you to come visit me too. This sounds a lot like when Flat Scalzi came visiting. It was fun having him here in my house, in my yard, and in my classroom. I know I am new to Jland but don't forget little old me over here in The English Lakes. I will take you out and about to visit Wordsworth's Cottage, Ruskin House, Beatrix Potter's Home, all not far from me, and of course all the local Arts and Crafts studios and historical sites. Oh! As well as take you on a tour of the Lakes of which there are many! At the end of the day we can sit by our little Koi pond and listen to the running water and birdsong whilst drinking a glass of wine or two. Bon Voyage!
(p.s. I would have to have a party to introduce you to all my 'real' friends. I have those too.....Lol!)

Well, Lori, I want to throw my name in the hat for a virtual visit from you. I just had a real life visit from a J-Lander, Jeannette. She and her friend Andy came to Savannah and we were able to have a day together. We had a great time. I am sure your virtual visit will be enjoyable, too.
