I made my first appointment and I am a little anxious. I don't want to be squashed like a bug but on the other hand, cancer runs rampant on my grandma's side of the family as well as scattered cancer on the other side. However, I'm a huge believer in prevention. All women should do it. They should also know that if they can't afford it, the Susan G. Komen Foundation will help with the financing. If you already posted this information, I apologize. If you didn't, then more women might take the leap. Hey, it's better than going to the proctologist, right? Oh, wait. That's for men. Whew!
