Why is it impossible to move a cat when he is comfortable?

I'm trying to read a few more journals, but there are two impediments to that goal.

1) There is a cat sitting on my chest.  He won't sit in my lap; he prefers to sit right up under my chin.

2) There is a little girl (who should be in bed) standing behind me braiding my hair.

Between the two of them, I'm just about to give up and go on to bed.

Heard from my niece in Ocala, Florida today.  They took their daughter down to her campus on Sunday (USF), then had to turn around and go back down to get her because of the storm.  Now they have to take her back tomorrow.

Andrew's friend "A" in Melbourn says it isn't too bad where they are, but there is a river in her back yard.

My sister Maxine is doing okay in St. Augustine.  I hope all J-Landers in the storm's path are safe tonight.

I have relatives in Florida, but they are in central Florida and they're doing okay. I heard from my uncle in Sanford today, and they're just getting rain. Here's hoping that all are well!!!

My brother is in Melbourn too.  Some rain and a little wind.  Not bad at all.  I miss my cat so much.  I have been trolling the TN SPCA site lately.  I think I may be on the verge...lol.

It feels so good when somebody "plays" with your hair, doesn't it?   Anne

What is it with you cat owners?!  My friend said she couldn't sleep one night because her kitten was on her chest.  Hello!  Crazy!  LOL

Funny things about cats.  My husband fell asleep on the couch and when he woke up he felt this pressure on his chest.  He thought he was having a heart attack until he realized it was 13 pound Lucy fast asleep on his chest.

I just found your journal, I like you, have been reading and clicking on the links of other peoples favorites.

I'm allergic to cats. I would die if one was on my chest...or even IN the house! Sad, huh?
I will love to have my hair braided. OMG I'd pay for that LOL!
