Took this pretty picture yesterday when I went walking in some woods with Thomas and the kids. It was a beatiful afternoon, and we had a really nice time. Came home with a nice bouquet of wildflowers.
Awwww! It looks like the nest of a wren. If left whole and undisturbed like that, it may be used again next year by a returning adult wren. I'm not sure it's a wren's nest, but it looks like the wren nests I've seen around here. I have one in my classroom. Kids are fascinated by it. This is a great picture. What a wonderful day you had! bea
Beautiful picture! Looks like the birds are planning to use it again. I love to take walks with my camera. You never know what you will come upon. LOL..of course, I'm coveting a new digital camera right now. Did you take any pictures of the wildflowers? Chris

That is great. We have gotten several Christmas trees with birds nests in them. I think it's a sign of Good Luck!
