Well, I have done some laundry and tidied up my kitchen and laundry room. I sat down to watch the noon news and President Bush was holding a news conference, so I took the opportunity to clean my bathroom as well.
I'm going to stop for a while now, have a nice cup of coffee and watch the rest of the news. I hope they find where that e.Coli came from. There have been several instances of people getting sick in Kentucky and Indiana, and I think at least one death.
It's still a really beautiful day. I should go out to play with the dogs for a while. They would like that. Andrew is feeling better, though he still looks a little wan. I suppose I'll do a little more cleaning and start dinner soon. I think I'll make a meatloaf; I haven't had one for a while.
Saturday I made a big pot of homemade vegetable soup and froze half of it, and I baked a ham with sweet potatoes. We had the ham for dinner on Sunday, then I prepped the leftovers (ham) for sandwiches and salads and put them in the freezer. Martha would be very proud of me. My goal is to get as efficient and productive with cooking ahead of time as she is, but she is setting such an example, it's going to be hard to match her!
I not only have caught up on journal alerts, but I have caught up on all my other email -- finally!! There is one girl who I used to work with who sends several joke and chain emails daily, and they had really backed up. Most of them are ones I've seen or ones I don't care for, but once in a while she sends a doozy!
Well, I'm off for now.

Yeah, I loved that Bush remark too. And it's funny how you went to clean the BATHROOM...where all the S**t goes. SORRY...couldn't help myself.
Yep, that Martha, she is an organizational machine, isn't she? I keep starting out vowing to clean for 15 minutes...over an hour later and I am still at it!! Does that mean I can take off the rest of the week??? (lol)
