Good Night!

I can't believe it -- the girls are already asleep!

I never did get back into my cleaning this afternoon.  B came over to play and ended up spending the night.  She's going to go fishing with Eler Beth and Thomas tomorrow.

Eler Beth and Thomas got all the fish cleaned -- 9 catfish and 5 red-ear.  I guess I know what I'll be fixing for dinner tomorrow!

I took both girls with me to Meijer this evening, and we had a great time.  It is fun shopping with two giddy girls sometimes.  They were being silly, and thankfully I was in the right mood for "silly".  B goes back to school on Wednesday, so I think they were wanting to get in another sleepover or two before her school starts.  I told Eler Beth that by Wednesday we'd be back on a stricter school schedule, too.  They have added an hour to the school week in this school district.  I'm not sure what that is about.  Apparently it is only on Wednesdays, and I really don't understand how that's going to work or what its purpose is.  I need to talk to one of the mothers I know who can explain what's going on.  It doesn't affect me in any way, but I'm nosy!

I guess I'd better get out of here and TRY to get some sleep.

I kind of miss the back to school routine... only a little, though.  And I remember those last desperate days before school, cramming in as much fun as possible.  :)

Enjoy your fish dinner, I hope to have one tonight, my nephew went salmon fishing on Lake Huron this weekend.  Hear they caught some good ones.

They are talking about adding to our days here but to take away Friday. Something about saving on gas. But, they can't even get their ducks in a row on the uniform issues.

I hope you got some good sleep!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Catfish.  That's all me and my Daddy used to fish for.  I'm so glad you were in the mood for silly as Eler Beth will grow out of it soon enough. Sadly enough.

I have cleaning to do and ironing to do so I better get it finished.

It is such fun to take girls shopping.  Guys, not so much,
they usually know what they need and rush it.  Glad the
fishing was successful.  Enjoy those kids being home.
Have a good week,  Pat

Good luck getting sleep. I was like that last night...could not sleep at all!

I am not sure if you saw in my journal that I was battling the stomach flu this weekend so I didn't get to the PO with your books. I will get them packed up tomorrow and have hubby drop them off on Tuesday during his lunch break!

Thanks again!

School administrators have to add hours to make up for ones taken away, by teacher's meetings, extra days off, etc. because students have to have a minimum  amount of classroom hours every year.  You'll probably notice some hours taken away somewhere during  the school year.... extra minimum days, or school seasonal sessions ending earlier, etc.
